A new Paradigm

A new model to approach the process

Today there are multiple counseling, coaching, and mentoring programs, each one aimed at providing different resources and solutions to increase and improve our capacity for effective action, personal and professional growth, overcome adversity, conflict resolution, and countless etcetera’s to be better, as persons and professionals, to live better, be happier, have a rewarding existence filled with purpose and meaning in life.

In Existentiam, unlike other models, the three processes, psychological and philosophical orientation (counseling), training by tasks and objectives (coaching), and mentoring, merge within an existential paradigm creating a new model with an innovative focus, aligning the common objective of promoting the improvement and personal growth of the individual, including their behavior, as well as their personal development in the various areas of life.

AT EXISTENTIAM THEY DO NOT REPRESENT EXCLUSIVE ALTERNATIVES, BUT CONSECUTIVE, SEQUENTIAL AND COMPLEMENTARY ONES.

In this new model, the approach to these three types of relationships, or processes, is not only “therapeutic”, unlike psychotherapy (derived from the medical model and which seeks to cure a disease), nor is it only “idealistic”, depending on the objectives, but rather “realistic” and oriented to practical results in your life and current situation.

Likewise, this new existential model of counseling, coaching, and mentoring is aimed at achieving personal development and growth, while psychotherapy pursuits the restructuring of the personality, seeking to achieve a better adjustment to reality in the patient.

It is obvious that the results of research obtained during the last decades allow affirming that three types of relational processes can fulfill complementary roles while the application will depend on the concerns and particular needs of each person, group, or organization.
